technology

One of the reasons our troops are such a beating in Iraq is the technology available to terrorists. It is quite simple, effective explosives and electronic detonators to rig (activated by mobile phones, radios, etc.), how quickly technology has progressed (think back, 50 years, a blink of time in the life of the planet), it is not inevitable that more and more powerful and destructive forces will be available to more and more people, so that finally, that the destruction on a global level?

Of course, yes.It ’s inevitable. All the pollution, increased consumption, massive landfills in the world - the byproducts of technologocal ascent, is essentially this planet habitable. I would not say that in the next 20 years, but until the end of the century, we will feel the impact. What we are blowing us goes, I doubt it, our self-preservation instincts are too strong.

I think that may well happen! Most go through life thinking and planning on getting more of whatever it is they want. As we bring new life into this world and to throw them with our bad thoughts of “I, me, me” it is also made available with our thought process allows for many generations to the world with this negative attitude.

As for technology, it will only get better with each passing day. If we couple our egocentric attitudes with all of this new technology, we are sure that those who begin to use it with ruthless abandon. This is, in fact, ultimately lead to us to destroy ourselves and our planet with the new technology.

We are our own worst enemies!

technology
What do you think is the best new environmentally friendly technology, I personally am very impressed by geo-thermal heat pumps, low energy consumption and better than the system it replaces.
They believe that humanity is intelligent enough to develop and use new technologies quickly enough to prevent environmental catastrophe?

Hydropower is in the whole world as the sea is never still, the technology is available for hundreds of years to exploit, but nobody has.
Environmental disaster is avoidable only now that its Theres not enough profit in it yet.

If it could be done cheaply, I think it would be solar PV cells that generate electricity.

Taking energy from the sun and is converted to useful transmission medium strikes me as the best (if your question relates to energy issues).

And yes, I think we are intelligent enough to the technology fast enough … we are probably even in the situation said with technology, but we do not care enough. Yes, to people as a collective whole, is important enough to impact our environment and then there is no way to prevent environmental disaster.
